We were once again delighted with how our Senior Pupils at Glenurquhart High School performed during their SQA Examinations. The following excellent results, the only statistical data produced by the Authority, were due to a combination of hard work and effort from pupils, parents and staff alike:
  • Fifteen of our 5th year pupils gained five or more Higher passes. Twenty seven pupils gained three or more Higher passes. Both these results placed us, as a percentage, first out of the twenty nine schools in the Highlands. Five of these pupils gained five passes at grade A.
  • Eighteen of our 6th year pupils gained five or more Higher passes. This again placed us first out of the twenty nine schools from leavers’ statistics.
Although these statistics measure only one area of our pupil’s achievements I believe our pupils are performing at this high level throughout the school in many different ways. In comparison with National and Regional figures these were truly exceptional results as we continue to strive to ensure all pupils achieve their full potential.
